Senior HR & Operations Manager

Our company is growing fast, and we now need an internal HR and Operations Manager who will assist with protecting the culture and quality of services as we grow. Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior HR & Operations Manager to join our fully remote team. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving the strategic and operational aspects of human resources and business operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, adept at navigating the complexities of remote work, and possess a strong understanding of both HR best practices and operational excellence in an agency environment.

Responsibilities:
Human Resources
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Develop and implement effective remote recruitment strategies, manage the full recruitment lifecycle, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new remote hires.
  • Employee Relations & Performance Management: Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, manage employee relations issues, develop and implement performance management systems, and foster a culture of feedback and growth.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Manage compensation and benefits programmes, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Learning & Development: Design and deliver remote learning and development programmes to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • HR Compliance & Policy: Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and regulations, develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, and manage HR documentation.
  • Remote Employee Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to foster a strong sense of community and engagement among remote employees.
Operations/ Process Optimisation
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across the organisation.
  • Manage solutions to support HR and operational functions, project management tools, and communication platforms.
  • Remote Workflow Optimisation: Establish and maintain optimal remote workflows to maximise productivity and minimise friction.
  • Audit Client SLA documents
  • BBBEE Management: Manage and implement all elements of QSE requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR and operations experience, with a proven track record of success in a remote environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and operational principles.
  • Experience with Monday.com and other relevant technology platforms to drive collaboration and transparency for all employees
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote team environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and implement process improvements.
  • Experience with remote team management and engagement strategies.
